Sirloin Tip Roast For Nola Style Roast Beef Poboys

Browned the sirloin tip roast on a cast iron griddle before going in the Dutch oven with onions and brown gravy to make New Orleans style roast beef and gravy for poboys.

@ColbyLang Sams now bakes Cuban bread in the store. It is French bread but a hair narrower than a normal French bread loaf. It is really good stuff. Roast sliced up and in the gravy for a soak.

Roast looks killer. Where are you located? If I remember correctly, not far from me. Albertsons, Safeway, Kroger near you? My bread is available in the deli department. Finished up the poboys tonight and they were a big hit. Took a couple over to some friends, one of whom just had knee replacement. Brought over a little Turkey and wild rice soup with heavy cream and cremini mushrooms. Good day.
