Cook time for separated brisket

I am going to separate my point and flat before smoking. Can anyone give me a ball park estimate of cook time when separated? It's 14 lbs post trim before I separate. I had been ball parking 1 hr /lb but I assume cooking them as individual pieces will make it much shorter?

Surprised at the lack of input here. My PM of yesterday is the best I have got. Just make sure you are checking the temp of both pieces especially as you close in on the finish line.

I'd think the pieces are going to reach temp at different times ... the flat would cook a lot faster considering it has less fat protection and thinner. I think two 7 lbers .... the point would be finished in the 7 to 8 hour mark, but you might have to cook at 275F ... if you're going to go for 225F ... it could take longer. Flat wouldn't take as long.Napoleon Prestige Pro 665, XL BGE, Lots of time for BBQ!
