Turkey pot pie and...

Morning All:
a peach cobbler, but first we used the "make-ahead" turkey from earlier this week to make a GREAT turkey pot pie...here is the filling with the top crust to follow...

Added the top crust & then onto one of the Eggs, indirect at 400...nice turkey "cut" into the crust...

Took about 30 minutes before pulling out to rest a few minutes...

Side view after taking out a couple of pieces...

Kathy had some peaches that needed eating so she also threw together a peach cobbler...

My bowl full & it was a perfect accompaniment to the turkey...

Tomorrow night will be beef ribs again, but Tuesday will probably be turkey pot pie again (very happy to do so).

I dated a peach cobbler in high school. No wait, it was an apple pandowdy, yeah, because pandowdies are made with mole asses and there was definitely some type of mole asses smell I detected coming from her pantry. You know I didn't sign up for this. I specifically searched on the internet for moles, asses, or asses with miles, and moles shaped like asses, and I get a pandowdy with mole asses. I wasn't even searching in the desert section.

They both look delicious. Gonna have to talk the wife into doin up a cobbler, would do the pot pie also , but the pet gobblers might get nervous.
