+1. Non-ethanol for the riding lawnmower, weed trimmer, pressure washer, and snowblower. (Anything with a carb)ColtsFan said:
This. I can also get non-ethanol high octane fuel at a local gas station. I usually do that and use a high quality synthetic 2-cycle oilPhoto Egg said:
In all of my small gasoline powered tools like chain saw and weedeaters I use the pre mix fuel. Yes, it costs about 4-5 times more, but I use so little it’s not a big deal. Has cut my tool problems down to zero of the past 10 years.RRP said:Guess I missed the whole point, and never got any special savings...BUT after the fallen tree issue and my $300 STIHL chain saw that is same as NEW but won't start worth a sh*t I went ahead and ordered a Milwaukee 8" electric pruning saw plus battery and charger. I KNOW I will love it!!!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Me too, Darian, and that saw still is a problem child! Even after I had had it for like 15 months I took it back to the STIHL dealer where I bought it and they "tuned it up" or maybe "tuned ME up" for $85. It still is a bear to start and yes I drain it between uses as they suggested. Boy do I regret that purchase!Photo Egg said:

Over the past 45 years I have had 1 from Monkey Ward, 2 by Homelite and when I bought this STIHL for $400 I thought it would be my last - HA HA HA - last STIHL chain saw that's for certain!!! Wish I had that old cheap one back from Monkey Ward - it was a beast, but I simply wore it out cutting up many trees for firewood way back over 40 years ago.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
Sounds like you just got a Lemon Stihl.RRP said:

I suppose! Though I now have had 2 STIHL back pack blowers which I need and use religiously due on our big lot with all these oak, maple, hickory and walnut trees. Thus 2nd one I bought last Fall is a sweetheart!!!Photo Egg said:

But Darian, you know what the senior owner at my STIHL dealership told me? He said of all the products they sell (Deere, STIHL and ECHO) STIHL has the worst customer complaints and issues that they as a dealership have to deal with!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
I have probably 10 gas saws and I use my electric Stihl almost every time.South of Columbus, Ohio.

I’ve picked up a few EGO electric yard tools and love them over my gas tools for convenience and less noise.alaskanassasin said:I have probably 10 gas saws and I use my electric Stihl almost every time.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
been using a small plug in electric craftsman and have been impressed at how it works even on the big stuff. next will be a small battery chain saw though, dont cut much anymore except for storm drops now.
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
I ran a Stihl blower and string trimmer for years and switched to Milwaukee electric last year. Not sure why I didn't do so sooner.

Tiny urban property here. Switched to plug in mower last year, couldn't be happier. Never owned a chainsaw, bought a small plug in convertible pole/chain saw this year, still in box.canuckland

I installed a robotic lawnmower this season to cover most of my lawn. The setup was way more work than I thought, but the grass looks better than I'd keep it when I was doing the cutting.

SELL??? Hey...here's a helluva deal for you...I will just GIVE you that brand new one if you are willing to pay for the postage!Jcl5150 said:
Would you sell the one you’ve never unboxed? I’ve been looking at air fryers but never pulled the trigger.
Obviously I have no clue what that postage will cost until I take it to the USPO! I need your address since I don't save that info. Just PM me that info so we can get this ball rolling and then we can take it from there! BUT of course I won't ship until WE agree on those terms!
I will be going to bed shortly so please don't think I am avoiding you tonight! -
And as you already know - your new air fryer is on the way tomorrow! Now... just to figure out the best way to "give away or pitch the other one"!Jcl5150 said:

I have been considering this as well but decided to wait until they do not require boundary wires. I would be interested in hearing more about your experience so far.Elijah said:I installed a robotic lawnmower this season to cover most of my lawn. OH BOY - did I screw up!!! I just went to our basement to get that new air fryer and when I lifted the box it was EMPTY!!! I asked my wife WHAT THE H*LL???
She said she donated the new one to her church for a fund raiser a couple years ago! That empty box was the one ours came in as she likes to save large empty boxes for whatever reason!!!
I feel like a real heel - but it is what it is - I'M SO SORRY!!!
I will post this public apology to you on the BGE forum as well.
