Acacia Hardwood Table Care and Maintenance

Hello, for those out there that have the Acacia Hardwood table - what kind of things do you do to care and maintain it?

    Acacia is a good wood for outside. On the wood, seal it annually with a Thompson like sealer and check the bolts for tightness 3 or 4 times a year. Make sure your egg is on a table nest, not sitting directly on the wood and use the lower vent screen to prevent embers from flying out of the egg. If you can, elevate hot objects off the wood so not to leave a burn mark. EGG also has a cover for them. It's a great table. T

    Hello, for those out there that have the Acacia Hardwood table - what kind of things do you do to care and maintain it?
    Keep a well designed cover on it. I bought a Montana Cover ... it's not made for the egg, but perfectly fine ... just needs to be wide enough, and has ventilation ports on the sides ... keeps everything looking brand spanking new, even after 3 years outside.
