2023, coming in strong. Careful with your celebs my friends. Jeff Beck died suddenly from complications related to a recent bacterial meningitis infection.

I just heard them talking about him on the radio on the way home. I didn't realize it was because he passed away. That's awful!

That’s a bummer. I was lucky enough to see him live once. It was a fantastic show. He even brought his daughter up to play a few songs and she is no slouch herself.

I hate to admit it, but I was never a huge Jeff Beck fan. I loved Stevie Ray, and in today’s world love Billy Strings, Marcus King, and Joe Bonamassa.

I had a bacterial meningitis and almost faced the same fate. My (now) wife called 911 and the local fire department carted my butt on a gurney from our second floor apartment. Saved my life.

Been lucky enough to see all 4. Gary Clark used to be my favorite but Marcus has been killing it. I saw Billy about 5 or 6 years ago before he made it big. Was the first time I saw someone who wasn’t “famous” and blew me away. Going to see him at the end of February in Nashville. Can’t wait.
