Hi Everyone,

My friend is an idiot. He didn't tighten the bands on the lid of his kamado joe and you can all guess what happened.  

Options?  Glue together humpty dumbty with JB weld or buy a new lid?  (can i just buy one direct)?

    They are $150 here in the US.  If your friend is in Canada it might cost more.

    nothing wrong with using JB weld.  What’s there to lose but the cost of the glue?

    We looked into JB weld.  He figured it would be a couple hundred in just JB weld to fix it.  Might as well buy new.
