BGE Chiminea for sale
CharcoalMike
Posts: 11
Barely used chiminea for sale. Comes with two front covers (in similar excellent condition) if I can find the second one.
Near Charlotte, NC. No shipping. I know these are super rare, and it pains me to part with it. Make me an offer.

no shipping unfortunately, and it does pain me. I hesitated for months selling this. We’ve moved around a few times, and just hasn’t been feasible to use regularly. We loved it though, one it’s been burning awhile it really heats the space when the sides get warmed up. Thought someone here might use it more.

I've bid more against far cheaper a$$es. Once I went to a cheap a$$ sale and bought almost all of them for what other people would bid for only half an a$$. My thought process was this ... talk to the sellers of all of the cheap a$$es and tell them their a$$es should stick together to get the highest price, then I bid the higher price for the most complete a$$es.
Genius, even for an a$$ broker.

Sh!t! I saw that at goodwill, they had it laying down sideways with a sign that read ...
"old left handed or right handed tibetan toilet, missing the modern plumbing, best for people with short legs. You can hide it inside between uses or just store it and use it near other shiny bumpy green things in nature like dragons eggs and huge avocados. Also it can be used as-is, without the modern plumbing, if you remove the ceramic cap and point the tube shape downhill with the caveat that you must be stable while leaning and pooping ( the tibetan lean-n-bean) .. make an offer"
Honestly, it was hard to tell how valuable it was, because my chances of bringing it to tibet and using it as a toilet were very slim based on how heavy it looked. I DO wish I sat on it at least once though. Over $2000 after a bidding war is crazy though. I can't believes this forum has more than one member who would take this to tibet and poop on it, that's absolutely crazy to me. This forum has come a long way indeed.

You know…as BGE corporate or LLC is all about PROFIT I still find it hard to believe that they won’t reintroduce that product or at least make a run of 500 or 1,000 of them to sell on a first come first serve basis for some reasonable price with say part of the profit going to some charity. Come on @Buffalo can’t you pass that idea along?Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Let’s just say I wouldn’t rush out to overpay on secondary.

Thanks, Pete! With you being a dealer then I’m hoping you have some insider info. Just hope that ACE doesn’t get the full allotment further screwing over the independent dealers such as yourself that put BGE on the map! I love ACE for some things, but asking the “helpful hardware man” who typically is a part timer can’t really provide the valuable wisdom of a BGE using dealer such as yourself!pgprescott said:Let’s just say I wouldn’t rush out to overpay on secondary.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
