Favorite Turkey Rub

What is everyone’s favorite turkey rub? I usually do just S&P but this year I thought I would be a little more adventitious. This turkey will be for our little family gathering next weekend as on the official holiday we go to SWMBO’s parents. I would use the tub to dust the bird and also make a compound butter to put under the skin.
I’ve really been enjoying VooDoo from Meat Church but thought that might just be a little bit too much heat for a turkey. The smoke will be pecan. Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

My wife will only let me do Mickey's coffee rub on our Thanksgiving spatchcock turkey. I'm sure there are a lot of good answers to this question, but this works for us.Stillwater, MN

I really like the Dizzy Pig "Mad Max" turkey rub.

If you do the coffee rub this or any one similar works just fine.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve done coffee rubs on beef but never turkey so we’ll give it a try.Plainfield, IL

i start a few days ahead with a dry brine, dont rinse before cooking. this is what i follow and it works great, simply putting a rub on doesnt do it justice

I'm a big fan of 'Four 41 South Honeysuckle Dust'. It's usually use that with chunks of either hickory or pecan.
