Charcoal Basket Options

I’ve read most of the threads and the reviews on the KAB. Looking on Amazon, there are several options that are half the cost of the KAB. Has anyone had any experience with a basket other than KAB?

Make sure you are comparing equivalent products. Materials, metal thickness, workmanship.

Kick Ash Basket is the original, patented, has a warranty, and is owned by a die hard BGE guy that you will find at a lot of Eggfests.  All the others are knock offs made in China.

Where are the Kick Ash Baskets now being made?

I believe they are now made in India.

I believe Trompo King and KA bowl are made in India too. Decent quality IMO.
