    Nice!  The mini is my workhorse.  My large sees far less action unless company is coming over.

    I hear ya! Although, my blackstone griddle gets used more than the mini and large!

    I have been eyeing a mini for a while. Maybe you all can answer a few questions.

    The one pictures above looks like it has nice handles on the nest. Is it easy to tote around for camping, tailgating, etc?

    How long of a cook can you get on it low and slow? Turbo?

    Yes, it is pretty easy to tote around.  I keep a mini on my desk at work, and when its not covid times, we haul it out and cook things while at the office for lunch.  A mini weighs about 35 lbs, thats half of what a mini max weighs.  I leave my mini max at home, its just awkward to carry around.  To answer the second question, I use my mini really as just a grill.  No low and slow on it.  I have a new platesetter for mine, its  brand new for a few years.  I love the mini, so much that I have three of them.  One at work, one in the backyard, and I found another cheap recently, and its just sitting unused in the garage until I decide what to do with it.

    I’ve done beef shorties on the mini and had a small amount of lump leftover. I’ve also done LmS small pork butts. You really have to catch the temp early on and let it settle in slowly to target temp.  You want it to be stable because with a big(for mini) piece of meat the dome thermo won’t read correctly because it is so close to the cold meat.
