Operation BBQ Relief has deployed to Houston, TX to provide the healing power of BBQ to families and first responders affected by the winter snowstorm. Families are experiencing the effects of the snowstorm and in need of meals as the recovery efforts continue.

Pops and I both got those emails yesterday, and have been in a dilemma ever since. Both of us volunteered after Harvey. Pops spent several days helping out there.

We both decided that it may not be the best time, because... COVID. It hurts us both. Probably more him than me, since I'm a selfish bastage. He's always been about " service above self".

Will be making a healthy contribution to them though, because I can at least do that.

I'll just drop this here, since I do try to keep it in mind -
