    70 is nice.  0 is cold.  Twice as cold would be -70.  Your weatherman is a liar.  Unless she's cute, then she gets a pass.

    I understand that coding allows for signed zeros. It applies to some obscure situations with complex and floating point numbers - but for regular arithmetic there's no such thing.

    Also: 1/−0 = −∞ and 1/+0 = +∞


    1/0 is undefined.  I am unsure of 1/-0, my initial thought is -0 is not a real number.

    I read somewhere that if it as twice as cold as 0, the temp will be -230.

    The areas experiencing unusual cold may see some future problems. There could be a lot of older used cars , RVs and boats out there with cracked engine blocks.
