Gnocchi on the egg

I never made any type of pasta from scratch before. But I saw a video where they microwaved the potatoes, and I figured if the microwave would work, so would the egg, I love baked potatoes on the egg.
After the potatoes were done, I made the dough and cut the gnocchi. Hardest part was trying to get the ridges with a fork. Italian grandmas make it look easy. I didn't know how long this process would take, so made them early in the day and froze them to be boiled at dinner time.
I was getting nervous because they weren't floating after a few minutes but just as I was googling that they started to float. Served with a from scratch meat sauce I started on the stove this morning and simmered in the crockpot all day. Gnocchi were nice and light, and the sauce was great. Only change is more seasoning in the dough itself for next time. Thanks for looking.
