Coffee subscription?

Looking for recs for coffee subscriptions.

There was an espresso machine thread here earlier in the year, and Counter Culture was mentioned. Just signed up with them. Also heard of Atlas, but nothing more than a Bon Appetit gift guide recommendation.

Thoughts?

I've been using Counter Culture for both Espresso (FORTY-SIX) and drip (Gradient) for years. Shipments usually arrive on door step 2-3 days post-roast.

With a subscription you get flat rate $3 shipping no matter the size of your order, so I've been nothing but pleased.  Sadly, with many other well-known roasters, shipping fees can easily add up to rival the cost of the product.

I know the peeps that run this company and it’s solid.  If you call them, check and see if they still do sample packs.

You can request whole beans or whatever ground you want to fit your need.  Even though it’s flavored, don’t sleep on Pirates Grogg.  Really good!!

I'll probably order some for Xmas gifts to get free shipping. The price/lb is pretty reasonable.

Went back to review the thread from earlier this year, and that's where you had mentioned Counter Culture. So, thanks! Looking forward to my first shipment from them.

@caliking First happy holidays to you and your lovey family. I hope you are all well and safe. If you are a fan of Kona coffee (which I am)......this one is worth a try. Greenwell Farms from Kealakekua HI  www.greenwellfarms.com   I was gifted some and have found them to be an awesome roast.    888-592-5662

  • Not sure they do subscriptions but it’s high quality beans from a great company. And full 1lb bags make the cost, with shipping, comparable to other top shelf brands without shipping.

  • I get all mine from Black Rifle Coffee Company.

They have a monthly subscription deal that discounts them.

Their Holiday Blend is a favorite.  My normal subscription includes some Major Dickason's Blend, Sumatra, and trying out something else - normally one of their limited time items.

mistobox is a pretty cool one I have tried in the past. It’s a subscription that tailors the coffee to your taste and preferences. It’s a fun way to try new coffees.

I think 2021 will be The Year of Coffee. Lot of good recs from folks here (as expected), so I will be busy and well caffeinated :)
