Outdoor Kitchen Project (Pic Heavy)

After a year in the new house I finally got around to getting my outdoor cooking space the way I wanted it. Had a ton of left over brick from the house being built. I didn't see a real need for plumbing or electrical as I have plenty of outlets on the patio and can always add later if I think I truly need it. Found a local brick mason that does great work. Gave him my crude prelim design below and this is the results. I plan on building a door myself to hide the propane tank. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I'm enjoying the new cooking space.

Nice! With your outdoor kitchen, when sitting on your patio now you won't even be able to see your bass boat. What's the narrow rectangular opening in the center for?

It's just storage. I wanted to be able to throw my plate setter and tools in there when not using them.HeavyG said:Nice! With your outdoor kitchen, when sitting on your patio now you won't even be able to see your bass boat. What's the narrow rectangular opening in the center for?Rockwall, Tx LBGE, Minimax, 22" Blackstone, Pizza Party Bollore. Very cool! I really like the rectangular hole. Great to store the odd ball stuff like you mentioned.Ruining Gaskets one cook at a time.

That looks great man. I think I like your plan better with a bit of space between the Egg and the house wall. Assuming you have your paper work in order for HOA inspection?

Ya I wanted a little space between the egg and the wall but in the end I think this looks cleaner. At 1st I was worried about radiant heat but I was cooking earlier at about 350 and the wall of the house was reading about 125 with the heat gun which is not really any different than it does during summer sun beaming down on the side of the house so I feel pretty safe about it. As far as HOA, oddly enough this doesn’t require approval.alaskanassasin said:That looks great man. I think I like your plan better with a bit of space between the Egg and the house wall. Excellent build. The one thing I don't have on my rather mundane cooking area, is a large single or two bowl deep commercial stainless sink. A couple of large sink bowls would be awesome for cleaning up smoker racks. I plan to add a sink by next summer.
Again, you have an excellent setup.
