Oh John.  My friend.  Water is not wet.  It can make other items wet, but in and of itself, it is not wet....or is that the joke and I spoiled it again?

I think we talked about it here before, but that original story with McDonald's that everybody makes fun of was really quite sad (and very much on them.)  The coffee was 180F+ and caused third degree burns to an elderly lady that had taken off the top to add the sugar or something.  Skin grafs and surgeries over multiple years.  All she wanted was like $15-20K to cover her medical expenses and McDonalds told her to get lost......offered her $800.  They went back and found multiple other injuries, plus internal directives that franchisees were supposed to serve it that hot (so it wasn't just one fry cook turning the dial up to high.)  She was awarded several million dollars, but then it was eventually lowered to about a 1/2 mil.  

Watch out!  Cold water can turn into ICE!!!!!!

I read that earlier today.  It was a very interesting and eye opening article.  I almost shared it here for you sciency types.

I like to hope we are not as predictable as beetles, but the article made his predictions seem convincing.

Hope he is more Nastradamus than Hari Seldon.
