Mine came today with price tag of $16.48. $8+change including shipping is a steal for a great book. Did not need another cookbook, but thanks to @WeberWho I could not resist.

Mine arrived yesterday after ordering on the 6th. I think it started out with UPS and then got handed over to my mail carrier. I received my book. Being a tamale aficionado, I was excited to see a tamale recipe in the book. The author went to a fair length to describe Delta tamales. Sadly, when he gave a recipe, he went with a more traditional recipe, rather than the tamale traditionally found in the south.
The author went as far as titling the recipe "Delta Tamales"
They are far from what is considered a Delta tamale.
The recipe given is actually for a Mexican style tamale.
One recipe that is not considered authentic doesn't necessarily indicate that all the recipes are bad, but it does indicate too me, that the author was a little light in the research for the book. -
