Pork Belly Burnt Ends

Dusted with Bad Byrons and Killer Hogs AP rub.  On the rack at 260 for 2 hrs then in the foil covered pan with butter, bbq sauce, brown sugar and honey for about an hour braze.  Foil off until glaze set. Good eats!!!

  • @loco_engr I bought 2 bellies at Restaurant Depot about 12 lbs each. I had to cut off the rind then cut each one into fourths. Guessing about 3-4 lbs or so.  Easy cook that made a great appetizer.

    Thank you! I just remembered I have found that after being egged I can divide it up and freeze in Food Saver bags for reheating for nightly meals after Winter slams our head!

    Great outcome right there.  Always a hit and you did 'em proud.

    I have a Duroc Pork Belly in the freezer.  Cooler temperatures next week might lead me to try this!
