OT - Korean BBQ Pizza

Was in Costco today and passed by some of their ready to cook bulgogi and didn’t think much of it till I saw the kimchi in another aisle and the lightbulb went off.

Started by cooking the bulgogi:

Next up was to make a basic white sauce with a little gochujang and honey:

Since this was a relatively late idea for dinner I bought some dough from the local pizzeria. Opened the ball and spread the sauce and added some fresh mozzarella:

Then added some kimchi and the bulgogi. Cooked at 550 for about 8 minutes (dough has sugar so can’t go to Neapolitan temps). Garnished with some scallions and sesame seeds:

The combination of sweet from the bulgogi marinade, savory from the kimchi, and heat from the gochujang made for a killer combination. Will definitely be a mainstay in the rotation, but will likely cut the gochujang in half next time - was a little too spice for my better half.
