case count doubled in my county in the past week, add a 2 year old, 6 year old and 13. a duncan donuts i stop in on my 2 hour monday commute did not open last monday, this monday a whole new crew. went in for a sub today and everyone was new in my regular takeout. i dont know

    Still the first wave IMHO. Plenty of areas that haven't been hit hard yet, as the spread has been extremely uneven. Maine is actually doing as well as can be expected.

    im in massachusetts more, we were doing well for the last several months after the big spike last march and april.  maine just let mass travel to maine a week ago without testing or quarantining, that will change in a week or two

    The Quarantine thing is kinda of joke. It's basically the Honor System.
    What percentage of people do you thing actually do it when they should?
    It's like misdemeanor robbery. There is virtually no consequence.

    what they did in maine was no hotels, rentals, campgrounds without a test within 72 hours documented at the place of stay. it wasnt that difficult for me to quarantine while at camp on a boat then leave the state without getting closer than 10 feet to anyone. i did buy that monday morning coffee at the drive thru though, so yes, a misdemeanor

    the maniac governor of maine has a different take on quarantine, i can quarantine for three days, 5, 2 weeks etc and the residence quarantine shoulder to shoulder at the bar, theres a crowded outdoor bar right up the street, it was set up in the spring just for the pandemic
