Came out pretty good. My second attempt after I got the JR for my egg.
Usual spices, marinated for 3 hrs and on it went. About an hour to get it good. Very tender and flavorful.

Dang! That looks downright sexy

Great color and char on that bird. I've never done whole bird tandoori chix, but this is inspiring.
And, good to see you back.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

That vid was about 5 to 7 minutes before i took it off the egg, it got the real darkish red color. Not smokey at all.______________________________________________

Beautiful, love the slashes. What size egg? Can’t see charcoal, is it indirect with drip pan/stone over charcoal?canuckland

Large BGE with JR.Yes indirect, used the woo ring and had a pizza stone on it covered with foil.
Kept it between 425 and 450 throughout.______________________________________________
