Good dealer story

Cooking on one of my larges a couple weeks ago. I noticed a plume of smoke coming from the lower vent door area. On further inspection, I found a crack beneath the lower vent door extending to underneath the egg. Fast forward to Monday 7/13 9:00am I send a email with pictures, address, phone#, and receipts to my dealer for a warranty base. She called me today 7/16 11:00am to tell me my warranty base was at the store and that I could pick it up anytime.
With all the bad dealer stories I read here sometimes, I thought I would share a good one. I dont have said base yet but I feel pretty good about it so far...

    That reminds me, Ive been waiting a week from three months for a fire bowl. I just called the dealer and he said they have no new news they will call me when it comes in.

    I'm grabbing a couple of beers with my local Ace guy and the BGE Rep for our area on Sunday. Lemme check and see if Leasure Dist.   services that area. They do cover several Midwestern States. We'll light a 🔥 😀

     Hey good looking out! I called and left a voicemail with corporate.  I don’t feel like battling with them in order to have them follow through on a promise they made of a lifetime warranty. Pre COVID it was the same story, months of exchanges with the dealer and finally escalating to corporate.
       For this reason I will probably never buy a bge product again or recommend one, there are too many great companies out there with outstanding customer service.

    I dug through some old emails and a few years ago I had to prove to the distributor my proof of purchase.

    Thanks @ColtsFan that is very generous of you. You have flushed my hand, I called the distributors number listed on the old email. The lady has no record of a warranty claim being filed back in April on my behalf, she is going to call my dealer and have them call me.
      Ill keep you posted, again thank you sir.
