Personally if they didn’t smell like anything I would toss them. If there is still some life there I would run them through the food processor to grind fine.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Previously opened, years old...trash!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I'd toss, not that they are dangerous , they have lost any freshness......+1 for making rubs as you goVisalia, Ca @lkapigian

would just toss but you could use it up in a wet rub. bourbon or soy wouldnt hurt
fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Cooking tasty food is way more important than using up old seasonings. Toss 'em. The fresher the better when it comes to flavoring your hard-earned food.
