    The Great Scrape - Smokeware
I received one of these as a gift a few years ago.  It's pretty cool.

I use one of these with decent results

Is there some secret to using this thing? I have one, but it doesn't seem to make much difference to the crud. I went back to my Weber brush and put this one away.

Normally @theyolksonyou would insert his black lab pic here. Where is Jason these days?

What seems to help me is a hot grate and extra pressure. It doesn’t get everything but it gets almost everything. For the truly stuck on stuff I will use aluminum foil or let the grate cool down and get after it with some steel wool.

@RRP thanks for you feedback, release 2.0, easier and stronger, flattened end, bent, notched. The right one is BGE, wide gap between bars allows full 360 access. Left one is Weber 9 mm grill salvaged for two Traeger pellet poopers, restricted gap between bars limits access to about 270.

Notched the corners at the bend and they both can do 360 now.

Easy cleanup while grill was still hot and chicken was resting.

Long story here, but I actually have 2 LiL Willy bars coming any day now. I can't say enough good things about Tom Zion and his company! You talk about a FIRST CLASS PERSON! Tom rocks the boat with his concern for pleasing customers!

This works as good or better than anything. Get the grate hot and rub a half of onion on it. Works like a charm.

One notch size fits all? Looks like a good fit for BGE grills, not sure if it works for 9 mm grill bars though.

@Canugghead is that 1/2" or 3/4" copper? How did you make the scraper half moon size cutout to a specific size? I'm thinking you drilled a hole the proper size through the pipe then cut the pipe off half way though the hole. Then put the bend on the end.

1/2", I kind of fumbled through it  :)  1st one was drill and cut, 2nd one was notching with angle grinder and finished with dremel stone.

Like your idea of making the notch before (not after) bending, just make sure  you bend at the right distance. Thanks!

I soak mine (I have a MBGE so it fits) in the sink while the coals are starting. Them clean it with a plastic scrubbie. Seems to work fine.
