XL Lower Vent Screen

I need to replace the mesh on my XL BGE. I found a metal one on Amazon but it ended up being for KJ and the vendor gave me my money back. I did a search in the forum and saw pics of another metal one but it is off Amazon now. Thoughts on options?

I prefer the kj for my large. Seems less likely to rip like the mesh one did since it's solid with holes. Don't know if it's the same for an xl.

I tore my screen off years ago. It seemed to restrict the movement of my bottom vent and in the zillion years I've had the Egg, I never used it. It just seemed like an annoyance and the only thing it ever did for me was restrict the ability to slide the lower vent. I tore it off years ago and have NEVER seen a spark or ember fly out of the lower vent.

My first Egg was without a screen. It was before they were a thing. My second Egg came with one. I hated it. Slid it off and into the trash and never looked back.

Also, FWIW, I see sparks coming through my medium screen regularly. -
I got one from Ace Hardware for $3 a couple weeks ago on order. It was xl screen piece only. I haven't installed yet because I need help rotating the base in the best to install.
