My most common way to cook shrimp on the grill is to marinade it in some EVOO, garlic, S&P and greek seasoning while I'm heating the grill up. Put it on metal skewers and grill it hot and quick. It is awesome. (shell off, cleaned)Now, they are so small and cook so fast, it's also fun to make a few different ways in one cook. So, in that vein, also look up "New Orleans BBQ Shrimp" recipes. I tried that on advice from some in this forum, and really liked it. Something different. (shell on)LBGE/Maryland

Shrimp tacos — maybe not the “wow” factor for Mother’s Day, but nothing beats the taste of grilled shrimp, fresh tomatillo salsa, pickled onions (so quick and easy to make) and red cabbage. Maybe some sour cream and extra hot sauce, too. Corn tortillas heated on the grill FTW. MD, Cinco D’s Mayo — it’s always time for shrimp tacos!!

It's a 302 thing . . . -
OK I FOUND IT. I read your post earlier, and started going crazy trying to find this excellent Shrimp Recipe. Here it is below . . so good I might make it on Mothers Day as well. Here is super old post I made here on the forum . . TIP: do NOT marinade over the 15 mins bc the acid will make the shrimp mushy.
Bobby Flays "Grilled Shrimp Skewers with Cilantro-Mint Chutney"Ingredients
Shrimp:
- 2 tablespoons red chile powder, such as ancho or New Mexican red
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound large shrimp (21/24), shelled, deveined, tails left on and patted dry
Cilantro-Mint Chutney:
- 1 cup tightly packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 cup tightly packed fresh mint leaves
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 Thai chile, finely minced
- Zest of 1 lime
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 to 2 tablespoons canola oil
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Special equipment: 6-inch skewers, soaked in cold water for at least 1 hour
Directions
For the shrimp: Whisk together the chile powder, garam masala, canola oil, lemon juice in a medium bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coat in the mixture. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare a charcoal grill for direct grilling, high heat.
For the chutney: Combine the cilantro, mint, scallions, chile, 1 tablespoon each honey and canola oil, lime zest, and some salt and pepper in a food processor. Process to make a smooth paste. Taste; add honey, if desired, or more oil to make a sauce that will cling to the shrimp.
Thread 2 skewers through 3 shrimp so that the shrimp lay flat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill until golden brown and slightly charred on both sides and just cooked through, about 1 1/2 minutes per side.
Remove the shrimp to a platter and serve with the cilantro-mint chutney.

https://necessaryindulgences.com/2013/05/green-lightning-shrimp/The problem with a problem is that you don't know it's a problem until it's a problem, and that is a big problem.

The FaceDance was is to dice up some garlic, habanero, and jalapeño and then mash with salt. Combine with EVVO, some paprika (or old bay), salt, pepper a juice from a lime. Let it hit the egg raised direct at 500+ for approx 2-3 minutes a side. Delicious!South Florida - Large BGE (DOB: 12/07/2013)
