Sad day here as I used the last of the DP Mole. I knew it was a limited release, but for some reason I was thinking limited as a seasonal blend. A closer look.  Appears it was only a single limited release. If you see any out there .....sure would make it worth your while for a container or two.

That’s sad. I really like their mole rub too.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

DP Mole reminds me of Elder Ward's NC pulled pork rub. May be it's the cumin.

    Hey yall!!
Okay, good news for those stuck at home wanting Molé. Molé is Rodrigo's favorite (he is my operations manager) and he just received a new batch of cacao and is making a batch today. We are considering bringing it back, but for now you have to go through the back door to get some. When ordering online, simply order "Peking", and when you get to the notes section, just write "substitute Molé for Peking". Don't forget HOMECOOKING gets you 15% off through April, and shipping is free over $70. Hope that helps. I can smell them making it now :) Hope everybody is staying safe and cooking a lot at home!
    Chris

    That is awesome!

    Thanks, Chris!

You are the best. Are there limits? Not looking to horde, just want to order maybe 3?

I have to post this now on the good things happening during the pandemic.

This was a nice reminder that I have a bottle of mole (No. 1078) that I've barely put a dent in. What are you guys using it with?

I like to slice up leftover chicken or steak, toss in a skillet and warm up with a sprinkle of Mole and make nachos. Add a little water to moisten up if needed.
    Best snack ever.

A little off topic but a mix of mole and ghost makes the best rub for chicken tacos.

@StillH2OEgger I recently used for chicken fajitas. I mixed with some olive oil, fresh cilantro and lime juice. I actually did this for both the protein and the onions/peppers (separate of course).

Thanks for the responses. We're thinking about doing pulled pork tacos tonight. Anyone use it with pork?

Not on pulled pork....but i have combined it with Pineapple Head on pork tenderloin. Much joy was found there.

Anyone try the IPA? I added that one too, figure if I like the beers so much I should give the rub a shot.

The IPA is great.  It doesn't seem like much in the bottle, but really does good things to whatever you put it on.  I love it.

The IPA is great on grilled veggies.

What are some favorite cooks to use the Mole with? I actually have an unopened bottle.

Wanted to thank everyone for their orders. It's a tough time for companies, and to see product going out is a beautiful thing right now! Just wanted to let ya'll know there is no need to go through the back door any more :) Molé is live now. If you feel like it, please leave a review so others can see what you are cooking with it. Again, thank you all for the support, and happy cookin'! Chris

I added a few remaining granules this morning to my omelet. Not enough to make a huge flavor impact....but will return to that one when my order arrives.
