1 1/2 year old froze turkey

I have had a turkey in the freezer since Thanksgiving 2018, about 1 1/2 years old. Does anyone think it’s too old to cook or would taste bad? Figure now is a good time to cook it if it would be alright. Thanks in advance.

First - it would be safe if it has been frozen the whole time.
Second - look for freezer burn - because you know those areas won't taste any good.
Third - It should be "fine" for eating if there's no freezer burn. It may not be quite as juicy as a bird that didn't spend so much time in the freezer but it should taste fine. With that said, this might be a bird that would benefit more than most from a brine or injection.

I've cooked a freezer resident 3+ year-old turkey with no issues. It was in a deep freeze and I didn't give it much of an exam once thawed and before prepping and hitting the altar. @Foghorn has great points to consider in the prep stage.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
