    Sure... easy recipe

Used John Henry pecan rub. Smoked for 2hrs then placed meat in pan. Added 6 oz peppercini juice and sprinkled packet of dry auju and ranch dressing on top. Added about a stick of unsalted butter and some peppers ar well.  Covered with foil and cooked additional 3 hours or until fork tender.

  • Mississippi Pot Roast is something I do in a crockpot or pressure cooker.  It hadn’t occurred to me to do it on the egg.  Nice play!
Nice green grass you got there.  Here in Michigan, we have white garbage all over the place with patches of brown turf showing in spots.  I’m a little jealous of you rebs this time of year.  Winter sux!

That looks like it would make some great pulled beef sandwiches.
I cooked a chuck roast a few weeks ago. I smoked it for around an hour and a half. I finished it in the oven. I was afraid the hickory would be overpowering.
I'm going to try it again with your recipe.
    Thanks for sharing.

No pic here but echoing the thread.  This is the real deal. Served over noodles -similar to a stroganoff but not as rich (though equally savory). I think the corn starch in the au jus packet is helpful re gravy ...
