if I cook ribs on a rib rack on the BGE do I need to flip them? before foil, and all the other possible steps.

Yes. The side closest to the grid is hotter. If you don’t flip, they’ll cook unevenly."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Yep, top to bottom , back to front and side to side.

It appears you are cooking with the legs of your plate setter facing down. Typically for a indirect cook they would face upwards. Is there a reason you go inverted?LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

wow, Jon Wesson sorry to ruffle you feathers some type of way not sure where its coming from, However. The rib question was me trying to learn. Yes the ribs were on my grill and yes the photo was before it got destroyed I too take photos of my food. Never said it was a today photo, and yes Im building an outdoor kitchen thats incomplete. But seeing some of the other rib posts, and chicken post, made question my self if I was doing something the hard way or if there was a better way. IT's how I learn and grow.Ref my specific damaged egg. yes it was destroyed badly, and yes I worked to fix it. Havn't replaced every part that was damaged as money doesn't grow on trees for me.Ref everything I posted. It is actually all stuff Ive done and or have learned the hard way, and tried to prevent someone else from experiencing my loss. Ref the custom work, that's all my work, designs, and the work of those folks that helped me with it, so they get their credits. So stuff you may think I just see on the internet and post is actually first hand in hand. Not sure how or why I upset you. Wasn't my intent. But specifically what issue do you have with me? just curious.JD!Columbus, Ohio
