Got these whole wings fairly cheap on sale, trimmed to flats and drums.




Raised direct at 400°F, although it started a bit hotter. Total time about 50 minutes, rotating every 10 min.
Sauced with Buffalo Wild Wings spicy garlic that I got at Costco. Came out perfect, probably my best yet.




Albuquerque, NM - LBGE and an old rusted gasser that I use for accessory storage.

Great cook and results right there. Congrats.
After wandering around in the how to best cook wings on the BGE wilderness I also landed on very raised direct (around 4" above the gasket line.) Turn like you every 10-15 minutes and always a winner.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
