Those with an eagle eye will note that the burnt ends were finished on the gasser. After a bleary and ultimately failed attempt to cook them on the egg at 2 am New Years day, SWMBO convinced me I'd be better off going to bed and starting "fresh" in the morning. Smart woman.It's a 302 thing . . .

What's in the pan with the burnt ends? It looks like maybe butter?

It was a post-party, late-night/early morning "cut and toss" . . . bbq sauce, brown sugar, Mike's Hot Honey (awesome stuff), chunks of butter (bc there wasn't enough unrendered fat in the ends???). The end result went on top of mac & cheese for a New Year's Day brunch . . . definitely worth delaying all resolutions until today.wardo said:What's in the pan with the burnt ends?
