    Congrats. I've been an Egger for about the same length of time, end of 2009 to start of 2010, but I would have to find my receipt to be sure. My first post on the old original site was 2010 anyway.

    The same!  Got it for Christmas, 2009.  Flew to Dallas that morning to visit the in-laws, so I couldn’t try it out.  I had never heard of it, but my wife had asked some of her coworkers what to get me for Christmas.  Spent the time down there researching, and found the original  forum.  Now, I live in TX!

    I know your first cook wasn’t entirely perfect, but I don’t know why you felt such shame that you felt you had to move across the country.

    Followed the wife back to her home. 😂. First cook , I thought smoked chicken, added a bunch of soaked chips 🤣 Lived and Learned!
