Good marketing video, but being the critic that I am......gotta fact check!!  There are a couple things that are out of order.  They don't put the bands on at the factory, nor the domes.  The dealer or consumer is the one that does the final assembly of "how it's made".  I'm guessing a lot of that footage was from ATL prior to Eggtoberfest where they have to assemble a few hundred of them, woven in with the rest of the footage from the plant in Mexico?  Good camera work.

At the 1.58min mark I can just hear some users here crying that the robot is set to a 60 degree angle to the face of the dome instead of a 90 degree angle. The horror....

  • I think that’s a cool video. Thanks.
  • I have it on very good authority that the ceramics are made in Mexico.  Monterrey.

Kilned  at 2430F.  The bands and the rest of that crap come later.  BGE is not a manufacturer.  They are an aggregator.
  • Also, didn’t watch the video.

Yes - and some people here cringe at the very thought of getting their BGE up to a 500º much less 1,000º temperature for a clean burn! LOL LOL LOL

Ain't so concerned about the structural integrity of the egg, Ron - I'm more worried about my Rutland gasket burnin' up.

Why are you worried?  It’s not like you paid for it 😂😂😂
