This is a good read - https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2018/11/12/dining/the-rise-and-fall-of-turkey-brining.amp.html
I love salt dry brine ... NY times article, not a link back to a personal external website / blog -
first thing I do is check the label to see if the bird is already injected. Most frozen birds are injected. I do not brine or inject a bird that was injected by the poultry producer.
I've seen frozen turkey breasts injected up to 20% with salt solution.

I clicked, wanted to see what this account is all about. Two posts, this and a link that @ryantt posted originally on charcoal. What a bunch of autogenerated, regurgitated nonsense. I would bet there is zero original content. My rewriting of cliff notes for papers in high school was much higher quality plagiarism than this crap. Couldn’t find a recipe. How about a pic that they took themselves? Nope. I seriously doubt these are even real people, it’s all stock photos or pics from manufacturers.

@legume - @bbqqueens had the same MO last year. Forum folks called them on their BS and I think the thread was sunk or deleted.
I'm surprised they thought it would be a good idea again.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
