Any new twists that I should try on this old standard? Making them for the Dawgs game tonight. Hopefully they’ll have their act together this time.

YES!!! I have a tip: fill several of them with peanut butter. You will not be disappointed - trust me on this. I use creamy. Perfect combo of heat, salty bacon, etc. You’ll get it. In fact, I might make some tonight too!!!XLBGE, SS tableMcKinney, TX.

I'm a traditionalist when it comes to ABTs, but there are a ton of combos out there. I'm sure you'll get alot of opinions.

I change up the cream cheese for thick slices of various cheeses. A nice habanero or ghost pepper cheese does really good in them.

What what do y’all glaze them with towards the end of the cook? I’ve never done that before. Thanks!

I like to use pimento cheese in them as a change of pace.

Glaze with BBQ sauce... not on the peanut butter ones
. Not sure how that would go. XLBGE, SS tableMcKinney, TX. -
Here’s what I got going on. The slab of cheddar appears to be holding in the cream cheese mix better than ever:

I use some shredded cheese in the cream cheese mixture when I do them this way. I made these as a completely different way last weekend.

No glaze here. I just sprinkle various seasonings on them then let the bacon do the rest.Dawgtired said:What what do y’all glaze them with towards the end of the cook? I’ve never done that before. Thanks!
