4 yrs ago today my wife let me purchase an XL. It has been an amazing 4 years (7 Eggs later). My cooking skills have improved, according to my family. I think my instant read thermometer makes cooking “easier”.

Gongrats. Two amazing instances with The Spouse, you're getting a new truck, go for the hemi, and you want the XXL, up to you.
XXL #82 out of the first 100, XLGE X 2, LBGE (gave this one to daughter 1.0) , MBGE (now in the hands of iloveagoodyoke daughter 2.0) and lots of toys -
Congrats. Gotta say though, without the backstory, this photo and caption could appear rather strange to some.....
Just you and your ceramic bride.

I’d more like to hear how and why you procured 6 additional eggs.

We started with the XL and a few months later she got me a MM for Christmas
I found a M used locally at a good price.
14 months later I took a trip to Dizzy Pig for their Eggfest - the price was too good to pass up - took home a L
My local dealer had a Mini theatsat for a while - I made a low ball offer and it was accepted (wife didn't approve that purchase)
Last year took a trip to the Eggtoberfest and felt I had to come home with something (2nd large) - that stays at my in-laws beach house for summer cooks - Win win for everyone
Found a Large locally that someone had a very low price on - yes I took that home and the wife didn't know about that one either.
Never intended on collecting so many but it has been fun. Think I might sell a Large (don't need 3 of them) and get a SmallNorthern New Jersey
