Ron, I haven't used mine in a couple of years, but never had any problem. I do recall that the pit and meat probe cables have to be plugged into the control unit BEFORE you connect to AC. Maybe that's it?
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

OK - I'm pretty sure I did just that, but I'll go check.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Nope that didn't solve it, but thanks anyway. Michael.RRP said:OK - I'm pretty sure I did just that, but I'll go check.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
Call 'em tomorrow. I'm sure it's something simple.

Did you unplug power cord and both probes? And then plug in pit and meat probes followed by power cord? Basically a complete re-boot.
Just a thought.I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

It just will not set the meat temp, no mater what I do first or last and it sure doesn't act as easy like the unit in the YouTube. I even get a message which scrolls by that says "SEE" whatever that means.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -

I don't own the device, so speculating here..... perhaps the probe is bad. Can the probes be swapped, to see if prob follows the probe?LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

@RRP If you have it set to switch from pit temp to food temp automatically you have to wait until it displays food temp then hit your up or down temp buttons.
