Picked up a used small with nest for $200. It had only been used a few times. The previous owner couldn't get any heat out of it supposedly. I took it home and cleaned out the charcoal and they had the firebox installed with the opening towards the back. Felt bad because it would have worked great if they would have had it put together right. But I didn't feel bad enough to see if they wanted it back.

Nice pickup. I miss my small egg, I should not have ever sold it.

My small is the most fun egg I've owned. You're going to like it!"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Is the woo a must have?

Well done. Nice little family you have there! Enjoy your trio.IL

@Soyknee - Great score. It's a true hacker cooker. Regarding your woo question, I got some sage advice from @DMW regarding getting a hi-gue grate and woo and stone from the ceramic grill store for the SBGE. I had those delivered before I got the Egg so I can't offer any comparison. But I would recommend those add-ons to any SBGE owner. FWIW-

Great pick up!I ran a small without a woo for many years. Adding the woo/stone was a game changer. I'd order it today (along with the drip pan CGS sells). Also, I am one of those that was skeptical about the KAB. @stlcharcoal convinced me to buy one for the small and I am extremely happy I did. I don't even care about the ease of cleaning - the improvement in airflow makes it worth the money. I would consider that or the hi-que as mentioned above by @lousubcapHave fun. I know you will enjoy the small.Memphis, TN

Echo the comments that a kickash (or hi-que), woo, stone and drip pan for the small is a game changer. I waited for a few years before I added this stuff and if I had to do it again would have ordered it right away.Eggin' with a Large and SmallTwin Cities, MN

I have a kick ash basket for it already. The first time I used it I was camping and used a fire starter cube and it took forever to get to temp. The second time I used the basket and it was day and night difference. I will be ordering the stone and woo tonight.
