After some reading from other Eggers I decided to take a swing at this on the egg. I've cooked these in the oven many times but this was the first on my bge. In addition to cooking on the egg, my buddy (who is the one who convinced me to get an egg) shared with me how they've been making their own butter. So I decided to make some and use that for the crust.
Inside I used mozzarella, hard salami, turkey, mushrooms and green peppers. I used publix dough to wrap it all up. For the baste I used the butter, some garlic and house seasoning. The egg setup was platesetter in feet up, grid, pizza stone warmed up to 450 or so. Cooked for 15min, flipped basted and cooked for another 15min. The mrs was happy with it. Tasted great, presentation wasn't there, but for the first time on the egg I'm happy.

Will try this one again to perfect it, but the flavor from the egg was a very welcome addition along with the homemade butter.

That looks tasty! You could do a lot of combos with that. I’m imagining a breakfast one stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese.

I’d kill that. Nothing to be ashamed of at all. Nice!

That's something I've not tried yet but may need to. Keeping the eggs from running out seems like it would be a challenge hahaJcl5150 said:That looks tasty! You could do a lot of combos with that. I’m imagining a breakfast one stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese.
