King Crab Legs

I am doing a surf and turf tomorrow and I seem to remember an old recipe for King Crab Legs on the egg, any ideas how they where done and where they done direct or indirect.

i did these direct on a semi raised grid (v-rack in fire ring). they're already cooked so you just want to heat them up. garlic butter in a small black iron skillet......

Since all your really trying to do is warm the crab,not cook it,I would use steam.My preferred method is to put the crab in a large collander over a large pot of boiling water and steam for 8-10 min.Although I've never warmed them on a grill,I would think there would be a chance of drying them out,especially the exposed shoulder area,not so much inside the shell.JMHO

if i remember correctly, it was about 10-15 minutes at around 350-400 after a trex burn for the surf part. (see that little fillet in the back there?)[p]i guess it depends on the size of your legs and if they're frozen. these here had never been frozen and the price reflected that fact accordingly![p]<img scr=http://my.erinet.com/~pnsonr/biggreenegg/12nov06-053.jpg>
