Monday was the official start of my retirement. I promised my lovely wife that I would have a glass of wine waiting for her along with dinner when she arrived back from work.

Congrats on the "every day is Saturday" lifestyle. If you still use a watch, get one with the day of the week as well as date displayed. It will help

Congrats! and good health to you.

CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement! And great job on the chicken.
I like Walkerswood, but when I use it I always mix in some extra allspice ("Jamaican pimento") because it makes it a little more like homemade. YMMV.
Anyway, the chicken looks great, and I bet it tasted great. What a good choice for first retirement dinner!

Nice cook and congratulations. Retired 5 years ago (seems like 9 months) and have not looked back.
The really odd thing about retirement is i find i have considerable more money than i planned for?? Not sure what i spent money for before retirement but sure more money now. Enjoy and travel.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers. -
