This weekend we were driving by an estate sale and popped in. Well I am glad we did.

Wow, $30? Thats a nice score you have.
I found another large egg for $300. About 13 years old, pristine condition as it was on a covered deck, under a BGE cover. I learned what the hole under the bands on the front of the base and dome were for. These older bands have a "nipple" that goes in this hole to keep the bands in place. Seems effective, I am not sure why they abandoned the method.
