Comfort food tonight

Has been a rough month. I've had a lot of personal things go wrong this past month, and I've been overworking myself...working equivalent to double and triple shifts especially my commute factored in ...

Tonight I wanted the perfect steak and baked potato..
Bought a thick cut rib eye..I used my "special seasoning" 

Baked potato soaked in water and sea salt..baked at 425 for an hr and a half. Got the egg up temp 

Cooked for 7min  on each side ..while listening to the song "a little dive bar in dahlonega" and sitting in my newly constructed Adirondack chair.



For the baked potato, I fried up 2 strips of real bacon vs bacon bits ..used fresh cut green chives



Only hick up....dont know what I did different tonight ..but everytime I would open the lid..I would have a fireball shooting at me...singed my hair off my arm and the edge of my chin stubble....

Not sure why this happened..temp was only 400

Steak was a perfect medium rare...and d@mn juicy
