instant pot which one?
Instant pots are going on sale here again, and my crockpot is missing some parts so I figure I will pull the trigger on one. The question is, there is about 10 different varieties, and I don't know which is most useful. I did some reading, and seems some have a low and high pressure setting, some make yogurt (not interested in that) and some will run very specific scripts or programs. I will likely try some recipes online and don't want to limit myself and miss some functions. Anybody have any experience with the different models and what features will likely be needed? So, far I'm guessing the duo plus or the ultra will suit my needs

I have an older Duo. While I'm not as crazed with its use as many others I know, it works fine. Despite all the available settings I almost always use manual mode and just set a time.

I was gifted one, don't know the difference in brands but 6 at is awful,small and I to only use it manually

I have a 6qt ultra and like that the programs seem to be fully customizable.
I've used the manual and ultra modes the most. Texture of eggs, yogurt, rice for example can be adjusted based on temp, pressure, and time.

I have an 8qt and soon after purchased a 3 qt, both are Duo's and like others have mentioned manual settings are used most often. Maybe I'm a control freak but I like to know what the cooker is doing. They both have their place in the rotation.
