Pedestrian Paella-long overdue
For several years I have had paella in an every 5-7 week rotation until 2019 (no excuse for the aberrant behavior). So today I decided to crank out a simple cook-shrimp and a couple of scallops on my small (12 ") pan. Only thing truly noteworthy (other than the flavor) was the Bomba rice.
The soccarrat (money shot) was good, not great but I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks for looking-

Nice cook and something that I have never attempted on the egg. I have made a similar dish indoors that is always filling and welcome on a dreary night.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

I had to come back and take a 2nd gander. Killer plate of edibles
I think you’ve been holding out on the pics because the above pics look top notch

Frank always knocks it out of the park, paella is no exception. Another great cook from one of the best.
