My impressions are based anecdotal/selective memory and not hard numbers, but it just seems like an awful lot of years (including while at Kansas) his teams are eliminated by a lower seeded team, which can happen when you're a No. 1 seed more often than not.

The tournament is largely about matchups, because all of the teams in the tournament are really very good. The difference between a 1-seed and say an 8-seed isn’t as big as people think. You get a team that matches up well with you and have a poor shooting night and that’s all she wrote.

I had TT losing to Gonzaga in that game and that’s with two kids that went to TT. Very happy to take that hit to my bracket.
