Temperature Control

I have a stoker 2 but recently it requires me to play/turn with the probes a little in order to get them to register or the blower to come on.

I like the stoker because cause i have 2 eggs.

Is there another system that that allows control of multiple pits or is the stoker the only one?

@gasman79 I know this isn't necessarily your question but forum member Bigguy136 breaks down on how to replace faulty probes on the Stoker. I'm going to do the same when I have some time with mine.

Though Rock's is not making the Stoker anymore, they still offer support, probes ETC if you have not tried them yet https://www.rocksbarbque.com/

I think they're the only unit that could manage two pits at once.  But these controllers are getting cheaper now that you can just have two of them.  You still need a second fan, second set of probes, etc, so all you're really saving on is the control head.  It wasn't that much of a savings when you added it all up since they were charging $40+ for the probes.

If you end up having to replace and you're not running two pits that often, get a multi-probe set up like a FB500, then have a cheaper single one for the second pit or as a backup.  You'll be into for under $500, and can probably sell that stoker on eBay for good money since they don't make them anymore.
