WAY THE HELL OT........OT........OT ..... SPEAKER NEEDED

Guys I need a smallish speaker for my MacBook Pro (2012) to listen to movies (not music) when I am sitting on patio with the Eggs. I have been told lots of small speakers do not sync with movies. The MacBook is just not loud enough outside.
Do not want to spend a lot on this. Any ideas?

Take a look at the Sonos Play 1. Great speaker. Leave it on the patio for tunes, movies, etc.

I’ve got both a Bose Soundlink and a Bose Micro. Use them on the patio often. Both are great for my purposes.

Just a just a thought, if you normally keep your laptop in the same place near your Egg, I might suggest a powered monitor speaker. Sonos is partnering with Sonance here very soon (available for preorders I believe) to provide outdoor rated speakers to couple with the new Sonos amp. Great option in my opinion to get outdoor audio coupled with whole home WiFi audio.
